Description: The Defense Space Security Center (DSSC), together with the Netherlands Space Office (NSO), is challenging entrepreneurs to develop new information products based on hyperspectral satellite data to support Defense operations. The diversity of possible areas of operation, where local geographic information is not always available, makes it difficult to predict the accessibility of the site. This effect is reinforced by the influence of weather conditions, such as heavy rainfall.
With this SBIR, the focus is on obtaining information about the carrying capacity of the subsurface and navigation depth of shallow (20 meters) waters for the aforementioned defense vehicles.
