council has an annual program of work, comprising several projects, as part of the sap essentials upgrade - end of mainstream maintenance (eomm), to ensure currency of the sap enterprise

resource planning (erp) system. Sap ess/mss is part of the suite of sap applications that support council`s backend processes.

The sap ess/mss software is critical for council to enable employees to update their personal information and request time off with the ess application in the sap portal. Managers plan and approve compensation adjustments with the mss application in the portal. Furthermore, ess/mss centrally manages employee address and banking details within a complex system architecture.

Ess/mss needs to be upgraded to ensure the stability and reliability of the core hr module within sap, which is essential for maintaining efficiencies with council`s hr processes.
