this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in far subpart 12.6, and is being conducted according to far part 13, simplified acquisition procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a further written solicitation will not be issued. The north east area (nea) is issuing 12305b-19-s-ndl as a request for quotations and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through fac 2019-02. The beltsville area research center (barc) has a requirement/need to establish an idiq for pick-up services. The award will be for the period starting approximately september 01 2019 thru august 31, 2020 for a firm fixed price idiq type contract. With the potential for four additional option years. The details and specifications for the work shall be per the attached sow. Orders will be placed by the issuance of task orders.
