Tenders are invited for ROAD REHABILITATIVE WORKS: YORK TOWN - OSBOURNE STORE, CLARENDON

Tender More Details : The National Works Agency invites eligible contractors to submit TENDERS FOR YORK TOWN OSBOURNE STORE ROADWAY LOCATED IN THE PARISH OF CLARENDON. Works to include demolition & site clearance, excavate soft spots, drain cleaning & construction, culvert installation, pavement works to include base course, prime coat and asphaltic overlay (38mm thick), construction of rubble masonry parapet walls and sidewalks and kerb & channel installation.

Eligibility: It is mandatory that contractors be on the National Contracts Commission (NCC)/Public Procurement Commission (PPC) List of Registered Contractors at the specified level in any of the following categories for their tenders to be eligible: Grade 1 -2 in the Civil Engineering Works or General Road Works Categories. Tenderers must have a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC).

Availability: Tender Documents will be made available as of Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at the National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10 in the Directorate of Regional Implementation & Special Projects.

Fee: A non-refundable payment of J$5, 000 in cash or Managers` Cheque, payable to the Chief Executive Officer, National Works Agency, is required for each set of Tender Documents.

Return of Tenders: Completed tenders along with a Bid Security ($400, 000.00) in the form of a Manager`s Cheque from a local bank or Tender Bond from an insurance company, NCC / PPC Certificate of Registration and a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC), are to be placed in an envelope labelled "ROAD REHABILITATION WORKS: YORK TOWN OSBOURNE STORE, LOCATED IN THE PARISH OF CLARENDON". The envelope should then be placed in the Tender Box similarly labelled and located in the reception area of the National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10. Tenders are to be returned no later than 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2019.

Tender Opening: The Tenders will be opened at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2019, in the Conference area of the Regional and Special Projects Department, National Works Agency, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10. Tenderers or their representatives are invited to the opening.

All queries concerning the Tender Document shall be made in writing and addressed to: Moira Williamson, Major Projects Manager (Acting), National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10 by Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
