United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) invites all interested suppliers, which are registered in the Philippine Government Electronic System (PhilGEPS), to submit their lowest price proposal/quotation for Procurement of Engagement of training provider to design and conduct an in-house seminar for Counterfeit Detection subject to the attached is the Terms of Reference (TOR):

TERMS OF REFERENCE
Project Name: Engagement of training provider to design and conduct an in-house seminar for COUNTERFEIT DETECTION for United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB)
I. Approved Budget for the Contract
The price proposal/quotation should not exceed the Approved Budget for the Contract of PHP 350, 000.00 for 5 sessions including all applicable taxes and charges.
Per session: Php 70, 000 x 5 sessions = Php 350, 000.00

A. Purpose and Objectives:
To provide a comprehensive lecture-workshop for the participants to know the Philippine currency and to enable the participants to know what to look for when examining the money they receive and guard the bank against counterfeit notes.
B. Scope and Work Deliverables:
The scope of work shall include, but is not limited to the discussion of the following:
1. Designs and security features of the Philippine Peso
2. Features of a Counterfeit Philippine Peso
3. BSP updates and relevant laws and circulars
4. Treatment and disposition of mutilated, counterfeit and no value Philippine Peso Notes
5. Philippine Peso Coins
6. US Dollar Notes
7. Designs and security features of the US Dollar
8. Designs and security features of other currencies (English Euro, English Pounds, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan)
C. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Requirements Documents to be Submitted / Presented
1 Must be a duly registered Philippine corporation, sole proprietorship, partnership, and of Filipino citizenship providing Counterfeit Detection consultancy in the banking industry. Mayor-s Permit / SEC/ DTI
2 Qualified expert and seasoned trainor on Counterfeit Detection of the Philippine Peso, the United States Dollar and other acceptable foreign currencies in the Philippines. Curriculum Vitae / Professional License
3 With at least 10 years of service at Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas preferably in Banknote Printing Department or Cash Department. Curriculum Vitae / Professional License
4 Must present at least 2 program evaluation reports from any recent (within the last 12 months) training/workshop handled. Evaluation Reports
