Fee: $ 35.31 Non-Refundable Method of Payment: Cash, Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Debit Card or Cheque (Payable To: City of Mississauga) Description of Procurement: the City of Mississauga (The City) is Hereby Seeking Occupational Medicine Consultants/Physicians to Submit Proposals for Work Associated with the City of Mississaugas Employee Health Services. an On-Site Occupational Medicine Consultant (The Consultant) is Required for Approximately 40 Hours Per Month on Prearranged Dates. the Consultant Must be Able to Provide Assessments for Various Claims Such As Short and Long Term Disability, Wsib and Weekly Indemnity Absences Through Analysis of Documentation and On-Site Assessment of Clients. the Consultant Shall Also be Responsible for Developing Medical Protocol and Providing Expert Advice, Expert Witness (As Required), Attending Regularly Scheduled Meetings and Updating the Citys Intranet Site. the Consultant will be Required to Work As an Integral Member of a Team to Evaluate/Improve Current Practices and Develop/Maintain a Wellness Strategy. Qualified Consultants Are Those that have Specific Experience in Occupational Medicine Consulting, Who have Supplied Professional Services of Similar Scope and Complexity As the City. Minimum Requirements: 1. Fellowship of Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine (Fcbom) And/Or Frcp in Occupational Medicine. 2. Member in Good Standing with Cbom and College of Physician & Surgeons. 3. 15 Years Experience with Government Organization Similar to the Size, Scope and Complexity of the City. 4. 15 Years Experience with Unionized Environment. 5.
