RFI - Contract Management

Solicitation Type : RFI - Request for Information (Informal)

Solicitation Number : DOC1359840521

Location : Nova Scotia

Purchase Type : Not Stated

Description : This Request for Information (the “RFI”) is an invitation by the Province of Nova Scotia (the “Province”) to prospective respondents to submit proposals for the provision of Contract Management Software to the Department of Service Nova Scotia and Internal Services, for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements. This RFI is being conducted pursuant to the Nova Scotia Sustainable Procurement Policy and Procurement Manual. Vendor Relations and Contract Management (VR&CM), a division within Service Nova Scotia and Internal Services (SNS-IS), is exploring opportunities to modernize its contract management capabilities. Currently, the VR&CM division relies on shared drives, spreadsheets, and email to manage contracts, amendments, service level agreements, and associated expenditures. This manual and decentralized approach to contract management is becoming increasingly antiquated to meet the demands of the organization and its vendors.
