Tenders are invited for RETAINING WALL CONSTRUCTION: BOG WALK LOCATED IN THE PARISH OF ST. CATHERINE.

Tender More Details : The National Works Agency invites eligible contractors to submit TENDERS FOR RETAINING WALL CONSTRUCTION: BOG WALK LOCATED IN THE PARISH OF ST. CATHERINE. The works consist of site clearance, earth works excavation to reduce levels (culvert outfall) & gabion wall, boulder packing, construction of gabion walls & concrete toe walls, installation of guard rails, drainage works HDPE installation, drain inlets, kerb & channels and pavement works such as preparation of formation, base course, application of asphaltic concrete overlay 38 mm thick.

Eligibility: It is mandatory that contractors be on the National Contracts Commission (NCC)/Public Procurement Commission (PPC) List of Registered Contractors at the specified level in any of the following categories for their tenders to be eligible: Grade 1 or 2 or 3 in the Civil Engineering Works or General Road Works Categories. Tenderers must have a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC).

Availability: Tender Documents will be made available as of Monday, November 18, 2019, at the National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10 in the Directorate of Regional Implementation & Special Projects.

Fee: A non-refundable payment of J$5, 000 in cash or Managers` Cheque, payable to the Chief Executive Officer, National Works Agency, is required for each set of Tender Documents.

Return of Tenders: Completed tenders along with Public Procurement Commission (PPC) /National Contract Commission (NCC) Certificate of Registration and a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC), are to be placed in an envelope labelled "RETAINING WALL CONSTRUCTION: BOG WALK, LOCATED IN THE PARISH OF ST. CATHERINE". The envelope should then be placed in the Tender Box similarly labelled and located in the reception area of the National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10. Tenders are to be returned no later than 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019.

Tender Opening: The Tenders will be opened at 10:15 a.m .on Monday, December 2, 2019, in the Conference Area of the Regional Implementation and Special Projects Department, National Works Agency, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10. Tenderers or their representatives are invited to the opening.

All queries concerning the Tender Document shall be made in writing and addressed to: Moira Williamson, Major Projects Manager (Acting), National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10 by Monday November 25, 2019.

Tenders not accompanied by a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) and NCC/PPC Certificate of Registration will be rejected.
