the purpose of this request for qualifications (rfq) process is to qualify service provider(s) with the required capability and capacity to provide market research services to b.c.`s agrifood and seafood industry under the b.c. Agrifood and seafood market development program as described in the rfq (section 4).

this request for qualification process will establish a list of qualified suppliers that will be eligible to provide services to program applicants on an as, if, and when requested basis. The list of qualified suppliers will be posted on the third-party delivery agent`s website. Program applicants will be responsible for selecting a qualified supplier of their choice from the list and working with that qualified supplier to scope out the project (i.e. Scope, cost, timelines, deliverables etc.) so that the program

applicant can utilize those details to complete the project details section of the application. Once the application is fully complete, the program applicant will submit the application directly to the province`s third-party delivery agent for adjudication.

respondents should note that the list of qualified suppliers established as a result of this rfq will be used by program applicants and not by the province. Any contract resulting from use of the list of qualified suppliers will be between the program applicant and the qualified supplier.

the initial response deadline was june 7, 2018, through rfq on - 003178 as issued on bc bid on may 11, 2018; the ministry intends to provide additional opportunities for new responses to be considered for inclusion on the list of qualified suppliers.
