On the 25th of September the World adopted the new Sustainable Development agenda which were also launched locally in Tanzania in September 2015. By 2030, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals are expected to transform countries' economies, increase development efforts, protect the environment at the same time improve on living standards leaving no one behind. The United Republic of Tanzania as a UN member state has remained a key partner of the United Nations. The UN Resident Coordinator's Office (RCO) in Tanzania has been conducting Global Goals awareness-raising initiatives throughout the country has so far managed to directly reach over 40, 000 youth through various initiatives including training of trainers who have become Global Goals Champions and outreach activities at various symposiums, seminars and at multiple schools and universities across the country.To build on this awareness-raising campaign UNRCO is seeking a company that can conduct similar outreach on a wider scale using social media and radio. Under the supervision of the Communications, Outreach, Advocacy and Partnership (COAP) unit, the RCO is seeking a company that can conduct a social media campaign to raise awareness and generate engagement on the results that are being achieved by UN agencies in Tanzania at, the national level, in the context of the Global Goals. Additionally, the same company would be required to conduct a campaign targeting communities in Kigoma. The radio campaign would involve partnering with radio houses with coverage in Kibondo, Kasulu and Kakonko to promote the six themes of the Kigoma Joint Programme (KJP)
