Dear Sir/Madam, The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hereby invites you to submit a Proposal to this Request for Proposal (RFP) for Enhancing Conservation of Globally Significant Biodiversity Through Protected Area System Strengthening in Gansu.Introduction to the RFP:Enhancing conservation of globally significant biodiversity through protected area system strengthening in Gansu is a child project of China-Protected Areas System Reform Program (C-PAR). The objective of the project is to strengthen the conservation of globally significant biodiversity in Gansu Province through improving existing legal and institutional frameworks, reforming and mainstreaming the protected area system, enhancing habitat connectivity and reducing key threats. Forestry and Grassland Bureau of Gansu serves as the implementing partner of the project and will take full responsibility for implementation of the project. Based on the Project Proposal Document, the project is recruiting seven positions to carry out the work. The expertise required for these positions include environmental law, laws and policesrelated to nature reserves, wildlife protection, sustainable financing of protected area, conservation and planning of biodiversity, gender, social inclusion, sociology and environmental management.Attached please find the detailed Request for Proposal.Your Proposal should be submitted in accordance with the requirements and procedure set out in this RFP. Your offer mAy be submitted on or before Monday, April 15 2019.
