UNDP Vietnam seeks 01 qualified local firm to provide service for Dengue Fever data collection in Ha Noi, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, and Dong Nai provinces of Viet Nam (Ref. 2-181003).The service is under the UK Space Agency project which will test a tool providing advance warning of several months of likely dengue outbreaks the dengue forecasting tool. This tool will be tested in four provinces (in the Southern, Centre, Highlands, and Northern Regions) in Viet Nam. This project will greatly assist public health authorities to mobilise resources to those most in need. The same methods could also be used to forecast outbreaks of Zika and chikungunya which have recently begun to be reported in Viet Nam, whilst the tool will provide information on possible trajectories for dengue epidemics as a result of long term climate change.The selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.A pre-proposal conference will be held at 4.00 pm, Monday 29 October 2018 at 304 Kim Ma Street, Hanoi.
