Invitation for Negotiated Procurement
In view of the two (2) failed biddings conducted for the project, the Local Government of La Paz, Agusan del Sur through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) invites Phil-GEPS registered suppliers, to apply for eligibility and to participate in the negotiation for the Repair of Daycare Center Panagangan La Paz Agusan del Sur in accordance with Section 53.1 of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (R-IRR) of Republic Act No. 9184, otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-. The Approved Budget for the Contract is Two Hundred Fifty Five Thousand Pesos (a‚+/- 255, 000.00).
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criterion as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183.

The Bidding Documents may be acquired at BAC Secretariat, New Municipal Building, Poblacion, La Paz, Agusan del Sur upon payment of a non-refundable fee amount Php 500.00 to the Municipal Treasurer provided as follow not later than the submission of their quotations. Bidders who have been declared -œeligible- during the first two-failed biddings need not to pay for the tender documents.
The Local Government Unit of La Paz assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid.
