Remodeling and rehabilitation of locals for libraries in Hurtigruten's house
The project applies to rebuilding parts of the ground floor of Hurtigruten's house. The area in the glass facade is currently available by Northern University and the inner premises is not in use. The area to be refurbished will be shared between a municipal public library and Northern University's own library. The main goals are to create open, flexible and modern premises, ensure good fire -technical solutions and ensure that both library operations and public functions are taken care of.
