General Procurement Notice

This General Procurement Notice is an update of the notice first published in the EBRD Procurement Opportunities on 14 May 2009 and further updated on 27 August 2010, 30 January 2012 and 21 May 2015.

The Montenegro Railway Infrastructure Company (ZICG) intends using the remaining proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“the Bank”) for a project to undertake emergency rehabilitation of the railway infrastructure. The proposed project, which had a total estimated cost of EUR 17 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the remaining goods, works and services for the following outstanding component:

Rehabilitation works for the slopes
Tendering for the above contract is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2019.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
