The City Government of Tacloban thru the NGAS-DOT YRRP Trust Fund, intends to apply the sum of Nine Million Seven Hundred Thousand Pesos & 00/100 (Php9, 700, 000.00) only, being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payment under the contract for the Rehabilitation of Sto. Nino Shrine and Heritage Museum at Real Street, Tacloban City. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.



The City Government of Tacloban now invites bid for the following works to be procured

Completion of the works required is two hundred ten (210) calendar days. Bidders should have completed within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids a contract similar to the project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the bidding documents, particularly in Section II. Instruction to Bidders.



Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-.



Interested bidders may obtain further information from the City Government of Tacloban thru the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Secretariat, City Hall Bldg., Kanhuraw Hill, Tacloban City, and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 AM to 5:00 pm. Mondays to Fridays.



A completed set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address given below upon submission of a written letter of intent and/or its application for eligibility and latest Class -œA- documents, addressed to the BAC Chairman, not later than 12:00 PM of August 9, 2018. Hard copy of the ITB from G-EPS, Document Request List, and Bid Notice Abstract should be attached to the letter of intent (LOI). Payment of a non- refundable fee for the bidding documents is Php10, 000.00.



The City Government of Tacloban thru the BAC will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on July 26, 2018, 2:00 PM at the BAC Office, Livelihood Training Center, Balyuan, Tacloban City, which shall be open only to all interested parties who have purchased the Bidding Documents.



Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2:00 PM of August 9 2018. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.



Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder-s representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.



The City Government of Tacloban reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
