.BACKGROUND

Sustainable Development and Peace Building Initiatives (SYPD) is a humanitarian organization that has been working in Somalia since 2004. We are focused solely in providing sustainable and pragmatic mechanisms of interventions to help the disadvantaged communities in Somalia.

SYPD has grown rapidly with over 100 projects in different parts of Somalia that helped tens of thousands of vulnerable communities. With each project implemented, critical lessons in the fields of humanitarian support, development and peace building were being discovered and incorporated into various programs.

SYPD is Program for Disaster Preparedness and Early Recovery Activities to recover from Drought and enhance Community Resilience in Hirshabelle State, Somalia with the support of Diakonie katastrophenhilf (DKH)

ELIGIBILITY

The call for expression of interest is open to all eligible suppliers that have authority to operate in Hirshabelle state and willing to work in Beledweyne district, Somalia.

SYPD invites request for expression of interest bids from eligible and qualified entities to provide the Works referenced above.

The following documents are requested;

Full company profile with all relevant information about the company including telephone contacts.
A list of recent performed contracts of similar nature including a description of the supply and construction/rehabilitation work including the names and addresses of the employers for verification.
Evidence of Relevant experience, signed Purchase Orders (POs)/ Contracts /Completion Certificates any evidence of successful delivery
Recommendation documents for similar contracts from previous employers.
Certificate Business License/ Commercial License in Hirshabele State
Registration Certificate from local authority (issued Local Municipality, Region or district administration)
Most recent bank statement (last 3 month) OR last year audit account
The duly completed/ Fill:
SUPPLIER/CONTRACTOR REGISTATION FORM”
The Bill of Quantity (BOQ) workbook (attached separately).
RFQ SUMMARY PRICE FORM in page
RFQ documents and signed/stamped SYPD SUPPLIER CODE OF CONDUCT.
Work plan and schedule for the constructions (30 days period).
