SELECTION METHOD: REQUEST FOR 8IDS
1. The Government of Jamaica has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Youth Employment in the Digital & Animation Industries Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for the Rehabilitation of the Boys` Town Community Centre.
2. The Office of the Prime Minister now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Rehabilitation of the Boys` Town Community Centre which includes the conversion of the existing metal room into a computer lab along with the rehabilitation of the existing museum and associated structures complete with the installation new roofing system, electrical installation, air conditioning, and landscaping works.
3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank`s "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" 2016 ("Procurement Regulations") and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible 8idders may obtain further information from the Procurement Specialist, at email ibrdyedaip@opm.gov.jm. and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1600 hours at the address given below.

5. The bidding document, in English, will also be available upon the submission of a written request via link at Office of the Prime Minister`s website (www.opm.gov.im).
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before December 17, 2019 at 1500 hours. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders` designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on December 17, 2019 at 1500 hours.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by:
i. A valid National Contracts Commission (NCC)/Public Procurement Commission (PPC) Certificate in the category of Building Construction, minimum Grade 2. ii. A valid Tax Compliance Certificate/Tax Compliance Letter iii. A Bid Security in the amount of Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars Jamaican Dollars (JMD350, 000.00) in the form as prescribed in the tender document.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder`s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
