Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Rehabilitation and Extension of the Water Supply System for Sabastia Cluster, Eastern Nablus Area & Qabalan this Document Concerns Contract 1: Sabastiya Cluster and Qabalan Ws.

The project will be in great majority (90%) financed from the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW Development Bank (Project called: “Water Supply/Sanitation Programme Palestinian Territory”, BMZ No.: 200865352) in the frame of the German - Palestinian financial cooperation in the Palestinian Territories. The Palestinian Water Authority acts as implementing and operating agency.

In general the works in this project consist of:
1. Supply and install of pipes, fittings, house / service connections and appurtenances including all required work for Distribution system pipelines made of steel
2. Construction of reinforced concrete reservoirs (ground and elevated) up to 2000m³
3. Construction of Reinforced Concrete Pressure Break Tanks
4. Construction of Booster Pumping Stations
5. Supply of Booster Pumping Stations and Appurtenances;
6. Supply of Spare Parts.

2- The Palestinian Water Authority invites eligible Bidders certified First Grade in Water and Wastewater. Contractor certificate must be issued and valid from the National Committee for Contractors Classification to submit sealed Tenders for undertaking the works under this contract in accordance with the enclosed Tender. In case of Joint Venture, the required First Grade certification in Water and Wastewater needs to be submitted from each partner.

4- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information on writing from the Palestinian Water
Authority (Employer) at the address given below from 01 October 2018 to 25 October at 9:00 to 13:00.

However, any establishment of verbal contacts on the part of Bidders with the Employer as well as the Central Tendering Department is prohibited and may lead to the rejection of the corresponding Bid.

6.A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders at the address
mentioned above - the Central Tendering Department of the MPWH (starting from 1/10/2018) and upon
payment of a non- refundable fee of 2000.00 NIS (in words two thousand Shakel) or equivalent. The
method of payment shall be Bank Deposit to the PWA Account No. 219000/79, Bank of Palestine.

7. Bidders shall attend a site visit and pre-bid meeting, which shall take place at Joint Services Council
Northwest of Nablus, at 22 October 2018 at 10:00 AM.

8. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days, starting from the date after Tender opening and must be
accompanied by BID Security of EURO 90, 000 (in words: ninety thousand EURO only) or equivalent. The
Tender Security and all other bonds / securities must be issued from an operating bank licensed in Palestine.

10. Bids must be delivered to the Central Tendering Department at the address shown below on or before
12:00 pm on Monday, 19/11/2018

11. The official Opening of the Tenders shall take place on the 19/11/2018 at 12:30. During the opening
of the Tender Documents the Bidder may send a representative or duly authorized agent to be present for the Official Opening sessions at the places and dates specified in the Letter of Invitation.

Late Bidders will be rejected!!!!
