General Procurement Notice for Albania: Regional And Local Roads Connectivity.

GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from, or Grant administered by, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (`the Bank`) for the above named project. Additional financing details are as follows:

a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank)
100% EBRD funded

The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of 50, 000, 000.00 USD, will require the procurement of the following:

· The Project is part of a larger investment programme for the rehabilitation of the Albanian regional road network. It envisages the following 3 contracts:
-Rehabilitation of Vlore - Orikum Road (10.6km)
-Rehabilitation of Shëngjin - Baks-Rrjoll Road (15.1km); and
-A supervision contract for the works contracts.

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin on 24/02/2020.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/ grant administered by the Bank will be open to firms from any country.

The proceeds of the loan from, or Grant administered by, the Bank will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Client`s country.

Tendering for this project will be conducted by e-procurement using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP).
