Expression of Interest are invited for Recruitment Service of a Individual Consultant to Support the Update of Guinea-Bissau's Request to Submit to GAFSP.

The Government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau has received funding from the African Development Bank Group (ADB) to cover the cost of the Rice Value Chain Development Project in the Bafatá and Oio Regions (PDCV-RIZ ), and intends to use part of the sums granted under this loan to finance the recruitment service of a Individual Consultant to support the update of Guinea-Bissau's request to submit to GAFSP.

The services foreseen under this contract include: the animation of the working group set up by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to update the GAFSP request in order to elaborate the project document to be submitted. at GAFSP. This will include, in accordance with the new GAFSP guidelines, integrating the new strategic reflections under way, updating the analytical data of the report, revisiting the project proposal and its activities, to better take into account the themes supported by GAFSP and integrate the elements of the current context of Guinea-Bissau, PNIA, 2 ndGeneration and intervention of partners. At the end of the Consultant's service, a participatory workshop extended to the members of the PNIA Steering Committee, the executives and technicians of the other ministries involved, CSO, OP, Private Sector, PTF, etc ... will be organized, to share the project document GAFSP updated and integrates the concerns of stakeholders.

The Government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, invites Individual Consultants to apply for the services described above.
