Expression of Interest are invited for Recruitment of an International Consultant, Expert in Procurement of the Unit of Management and Execution of the Support Project for the Development of Agricultural Value Chains in Savanas in Car (PADECAS).

1. The Government of the Central African Republic, represented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, has received co-financing from the African Development Bank Group (ADB) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for financing of the Support Project for the Development of Agricultural Value Chains in the Savannahs in CAR (PADECAS), and intends to use part of these Donations for the support of an International Consultant, Expert in Procurement said project.

2- The International Procurement Consultant will work within the Project Management and Coordination Unit (UGCP) in Bangui, on a full-time basis, according to the administrative schedule provided for by the regulations in force in the Central African Republic. He will work under the supervision of the National Project Coordinator and will be called upon to provide all his expertise for the successful realization of the project objectives.

3- The mission of the International Consultant in Procurement is to ensure, under the supervision of the Project Manager, and in close collaboration with the Procurement Officer, National Counterpart Expert in Procurement, coordination of strategies and interventions in procurement of the project according to the procedures in force of the African Development Bank and those of the National System of the Central African Republic.

4-The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development through the PADECAS Project Management Unit invites the Consultants to apply for the services described above. Interested consultants must provide information on their ability and experience demonstrating that they are qualified for the services (updated CV indicating relevant references in the field of the mission, documentation, references and experiences for the position sought, experiences in comparable missions, etc.).

5-The eligibility criteria and the selection procedure will be in accordance with the African Development Bank`s acquisition policy as of October 2015 available on the Bank`s website at: http: // www .afdb.org .

6-Interested consultants can obtain the Terms of Reference for the position and additional information at the address mentioned below at office opening hours from 7:30 to 15:30 .
