The Government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau has received funding from the African Development Bank Group (ADB) to cover the cost of the Rice Value Chain Development Project in the Bafatá and Oio Regions (PDCV-RIZ ), and intends to use a portion of the sums granted under this loan to finance the recruitment service of a Individual consultant - Rural Engineer, specialist in irrigation and hydroagricultural development for the realization of the Study and DAO for the development of 13 market perimeters, lowland ricefields and mangroves in Guinea-Bissau . The services provided under this contract include: (i) The overall design of the developments, taking into account the hydrological and hydrogeological data of each site; (ii) Propose a development plan for each perimeter, definition of the technical parameters of the infrastructures and the quantification of the work to be carried out as well as their estimated costs; (iii) The integration of the technical descriptions, plans, drawings and specifications and the integration of the rice paddy management study of Fajonquito and Sare Ganaia (EU-ACTIVA) in the DAO of the perimeters technical study market gardeners of Ga-Mamudo, Djinicon and Binhomi and Binhomi rice paddy. The Government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, invites Individual Consultants ( firms or design offices are not allowed to participate in this selection ) to submit their application in to provide the services described above.
