1.Context and justification of the delivery: In the context of its cooperation with Burkina Faso, UNDP implements with its development partners, a Country Cooperation Program through projects as a contribution to the achievement of the priorities of the country. development of the country. Over the period 2011-2017, the country cooperation program initiallyormulated for the 2011-2015 cycle to accompany the implementation of the Accelerated Growth and Sustainable Development Strategy (SCADD) has been extended until 2017.In 2017, UNDP has formulated with the Government a new program of cooperation for the period 2018-2020 to contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the National Development PlanEconomic and Social Development (PNDES) which succeeded SCADD. This new cooperation program is structured around the following three pillars: (i) Institutional efficiency, the rule of law, social cohesion and security; (ii) inclusive and sustainable growth, decent work and food security; (iii) Resilience to climate change, disastersnatural disaster and humanitarian emergencies.Three UNDAF 2018-2020 effects are taken into account in the new country program. UNDP intends to contribute to these effects through the achievement of twelve (12) products. These outputs in the country program results framework include twenty-three (23) measurement indicators. For the implementation of PrograIn the same country, the Country Office has formulated two sub-programs covering, on the one hand, governance, social cohesion and security challenges, and on the other, those of the environment and energy. These are the subprogramme "Social Cohesion and the Rule of Law (COSED)" and the "Improving Sustainable Livelihoods (AMED)" subprogramme.
