The Government of Benin has received funding from the African Development Bank Group to cover the cost of the Agricultural Infrastructure Support Project in the Ouémé Valley (PAIA-VO), and intends to use a part of the sums granted under this loan to finance the contract of the mission of control and supervision of works of development of gravity perimeter with total control of the water of Tangbédji for an area of ??540 ha in Zogbodomey.

The services provided under this contract concern the control and supervision of the rehabilitation of an old perimeter with total water control of 540 hectares in one piece located between the villages of Domè, Bolamè Tangbédji and Sagbovi, in the district of Domè, of the municipality of Zogbodomey, in the department of Zou.

These services include

- control and supervision of the execution of works;

- Control and monitoring of the implementation of the Environmental and Social Management Plan;

- Assistance to the Owner during reception operations and during the guarantee period of perfect completion until final acceptance.

The works that are the subject of the inspection mission are divided into three lots: (i) the rehabilitation and equipping of the pumping station (shelter of the station, supply and installation of hydromechanical equipment and connection to the SBEE network ); (ii): the rehabilitation of irrigation, drainage and logging networks including the protective dyke and the fragmentation works; and (iii) rehabilitation of various infrastructure and related buildings.

The Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (APRM) through the Person Responsible for Public Procurement invites the Consultants to apply for the services described above. Interested consultants must provide information on their ability and experience demonstrating that they are qualified for the services (documentation, reference of similar services, experience in comparable assignments, availability of qualified personnel, etc.). Consultants can partner to increase their chances of qualification.

The eligibility criteria, the establishment of the shortlist and the selection procedure will be in accordance with the " Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants" of the African Development Bank, May 2008 edition, revised in July 2012, which are available on the Bank's website at http://www.afdb.org .
