Expression of Interest are invited for Recruiting a Local Consultant to Develop the Gender Profile of Burkina Faso.

The African Development Bank (AfDB) hereby invites National Individual Consultants to express their interest in developing the Gender Profile of Burkina Faso .

2. The services provided under this mission include the following: (i) to collect primary and secondary data on gender issues by CSP pillar and other priority sectors in Burkina Faso: (ii) analyze the gender dimension in the pillars of the CSP and show the analytical situation of the pillars of the Bank's gender strategy 2014-2018in Burkina Faso; (iii) analyze gender-based barriers to access to resources and services, socio-economic development opportunities and constraints, and other gender-based barriers; (iv) highlight the causes and consequences of existing socio-economic inequalities and propose ways to address them; (v) Provide a framework for integration of gender in the country strategy paper on the occasion of the review in mid-term of it, including gender analysis by sector and pillar of the CSP, the concrete actions to propose as well as performance indicators.

3. The duration of benefits is 45 working days, spread over 6 months, from September to December 2018, from the signature of the contract.

4. The Bank invites local consultants to apply for the services describedabove. Interested consultants must provide information on their ability and experience demonstrating that they are qualified for the services (documentation, reference of similar services, experience in comparable assignments, updated CV, etc.).

5. The eligibility criteria, shortlisting and selection procedure will be in accordance with the Bank's policy for the recruitment of consultants financed from the Bank's administrative budget.
