Description : United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified entities to submit their expression of interest for a planned solicitation process as follows:
Objectives and Scope
Italy entrusted UNESCO to implement the project "Protecting and Promoting the Sudanese Cultural Heritage in a Social Development Perspective: Rehabilitating the Sudan National Museum" (SNM). UNESCO and the SNM need a design of the new exhibition, which will be installed in the SNM resulting the project.
Expected Procurement Components
Design of the new exhibition to be installed in the SNM, which has to be compliant with
Modern trends in the world museology
2015 UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Protection and Promotion of Museums and Collections
Documentation for needed showcases (including specifications being ready for procurement)
Documentation for needed IT / media equipment (including specifications being ready for procurement, and descriptions of video and audio content)
The schemes of lighting of the artefacts to be installed, electricity supply, and IT cabling being ready to use by the construction company, which will make the installation
The developed exposition design shell to be approved by the Project Advisory Council, which mainly contains historians and archaeologists working in Sudan.
