Description: The Person of this tender includes the information and commissioning and ongoing maintenance and operation and IT support services (u. Changes, Support, Testing, ...) a Railway Data Center.
As part of this tender, the implementation of a solution for automated deployment, scaling and management of containerized applications and virtual machines should be assigned to the trains of ÖBB. This solution should be implemented according to the following structure:
• Railway Datacenter (RDC) on the trains
• Core Datacenter (CDC) on the Landseite
The RDC on the trains should be operated on an independent physical server on each vehicle and offer the possibility to operate flexibly applications of the client to offer specific services on the train (e.g., online portal).
