Abstract: The Research being procured here will investigate teachers' opinions about some of the recently reformed GCSE qualifications. The study's aims are:a) To find out how the new qualifications are working and what impact the changes are having.b) To gather evidence that could inform any future qualification reforms, for example, to support the new curriculum for Wales. For this initial piece of work, we would like to explore the views of teachers who teach the following GCSE subjects: Geography, Science (including separate sciences), Performing Arts (Music, Drama and Dance), English (language and literature), Welsh (language and literature), Maths (Maths and Maths Numeracy) and Modern Foreign Languages (MFL). . After this work is completed, during the next two years we may call off similar activities of exploring teachers' perceptions of other reformed GCSEs, however there is no guarantee of future work
