Purchase of Multi-Purpose Shredder (10Hp Model)

The LGU- Mariveles, through the Budget of the Contract Approved by the Sanggunian of 2018 intends to apply the sum of Seven-Hundred Twelve Thousand, Five Hundred Pesos (712, 500.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Purchase of Multi-Purpose Shredder (10hp model). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected during bid opening.



The LGU- Mariveles now invites bids for the aforementioned project. Delivery of the Goods is required within 30 days after the receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed, within 3 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.



Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-.



Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183 and subject to Commonwealth Act 138.



Interested bidders may obtain further information from Office of the Bids and Awards Committee, Municipal Hall Compound Mariveles, Bataan and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.



A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders starting from August 17, 2018.



The LGU - Mariveles will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on August 24, 2018, 10:00 am at the Office of the Bids and Awards Committee Mariveles Hall Compound Mariveles, Bataan which shall be open only to all interested parties who have purchased the Bidding Documents.



Bids must be delivered to the Office of the Bids and Awards Committee Municipal Hall Compound Mariveles, Bataan on or before 12nn September 05, 2018 using the wall clock in that Office as the official time of the LGU-Mariveles BAC office. All prospective bidders are advised to strictly observe the official time of submission. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.



Bid opening shall be on 2:00 pm, September 5, 2018 at the Office of the Bids and Awards Committee Mariveles Hall Compound Mariveles, Bataan. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the above-cited address. Late bids shall not be accepted.



The LGU - Mariveles reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
