Public Invitation for Submission of Grant Projects for the Support of Investment Support in Cooperation with the Diaspora

The Diaspora for Development (D4D) project announces the Public Invitation for Grants for Grant Projects to Support Investment in Cooperation with Diaspora. D4D is a project of the Government of Switzerland and the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), in partnership with the Development the United Nations Program (UNDP) and the International Organization(IOM) in BiH. The main goal of the project is to contribute to the improvement of socio-economic opportunities and perspectives for women and men in BiH, as well as to improve their quality of life through stronger cooperation with the diaspora. This goal will be achieved through three key results: 1. Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH and Ministry of Foreign Affairsthe letters of BiH, in cooperation with government institutions at different levels, use and further develop their instruments to actively connect, secure the exchange and engage members and organizations of the diaspora. Local self-government units coordinate their development strategies with strategic commitments of higher levels of government on diaspora issues, provide qualitymore eternal service of the diaspora, and encourage initiatives that attract the knowledge and investments of the diaspora to the local community. Diaspora partners convey knowledge and skills and realize joint investments with stakeholders from the private sector in BiH, contributing to the creation of new jobs. Within the results 3, support for the establishment of a financial mechanismfor the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) and Br?ko District (BD) BiH, which would support the realization of diaspora investments and / or in cooperation with the diaspora.
