CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL INSURANCE, GROUP LIFE INSURANCE AND GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT (WIBA COMPLIANT)

CARE INTERNATION SOMALIA/SOMALILAND COUNTRY OFFICE

CARE is an organization driven by its mission to overcome poverty and social injustice. We currently work in over 93 countries and focus primarily on women and girls, as the most disproportionately affected by poverty, while engaging men and boys in our work too. CARE International is an international NGO working in Somalia and Somaliland. CARE Somalia/Somaliland and its partners work with vulnerable communities to address the underlying causes of poverty and promote peace and development, as well as mitigating immediate suffering caused by drought, conflict and displacement.

We will be running a tender process with the intention of awarding contracts for the provision of Medical Insurance, Group Life Insurance and Group Personal Accident (WIBA Compliant) covers.

The Tender will be designed as follows: -

Lot 1- Provision of Medical Cover (in-patient, out-patient, optical and dental)

Lot 2- Provision of Group life insurance cover

Lot 3- Provision of Group Personal Accident - WIBA compliant

The supplier must be registered with in Somalia/Somaliland governments and must have operational offices inside Somalia and Somaliland.

Expression of Interest: All expressions of interest must be received by CARE International by 31th March 2020 at 4:30pmand must be submitted electronically (emailed) to SOM.Consultant@care.org

With subject stating the specific lot number and title.

The EOI must include a contact name, company address, phone and email address and must state which tender interest Lot is being expressed for, suppliers can express interest in Lot 1, 2 or 3 or all the lots provided.

Tender Documents: tender documents will be sent to those who expressed an interest shortly after the close of the EOI period.

Anticipated contract start date: 1st July 2020

CARE shall not be bound to accept any bid and will not be responsible for any loss or expense incurred by the firms in the submission of their bids. CARE reserves the right to accept all or part of an offer.
