BACKGROUND

The East African Community [EAC] is a regional intergovernmental organization composing the Republics of: Burundi. Kenya. Rwanda. South Sudan. Tanzania and Uganda. The EAC Secretariat has received a grant from the African Development Bank to finance the 50 Million African Women Speak Networking Platform Project to create a dynamic Digital Networking Platform for women entrepreneurs in collaboration with COMESA and ECOWAS. The Platform will enable women to connect with one another in ways that will foster peer to-peer learning, knowledge exchange/transfer. mentoring and the sharing of information and knowledge within communities, and provide them with access to trade finance and market opportunities between urban and rural areas, and across borders.

CONTENT DEVELOPERS NEEDED

One of the key tasks under this Project Is content collection and development which Involves; scripting, curating, summarizing, originating and editing relevant and clear content on financial and non-financial services to be uploaded onto the Digital Platform to help women entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

The East African Community Secretariat now invites eligible consultants from Kenya to express their interest for the following positions;

1. Lead Content Developer [Team Leader]

2. Assistant Content Developer
