Tenders are invited for Provision of General Cleaning and Gardening Services to the British High Commission/DFID Office and Compound.
The Provision of General Cleaning and Gardening Services to the British High Commission Office and Compound.
Background
The British High Commission (BHC) wish to contract a Service Provider to deliver a cleaning and gardening services covering all areas of the office and compound.
The Objective
The objective is to deliver high quality, timely and efficient cleaning service applying best practice in terms of health and safety and in accordance with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Electrical Regulations, Fire Precautions Guide and other health and safety standards pertaining to the scope of works.
3. The Recipient
The recipient of the services is the BHC. The Service Provider’s work will be overseen and managed by BHC (the ‘Client’).
Terms of Reference
Having at least 3 years of experience in similar services (Proof: Certificate of Domestic Company registration from RDB)
Having at least 3 years of experience in cleaning and gardening services with recognized private or government organization, NGOs and /or HC/Embassies (Proof: Certificate of completion/copy of contract)
Being registered in VAT (VAT Certificate)
Possession of car washing machine
Having at least five experienced workers in sanitation services.
Authorization from RURA to carry out cleaning services.
Having at least one staff trained in firefighting and demonstration.
Having at least one staff with A0/Advanced Secondary Level in environmental health/public health (Certificate)
Certificate of RSSB registration and RRA tax clearance.

Printed bids in English, properly bound and sealed must reach the BHC Office not later than Monday 23rd May 2019 at 14:00. Late proposals will be rejected.
Only bidders technically qualified shall be requested to submit financial proposals.
