Description : The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) has a requirement for the Provision of Fleet Management and Operation Services for UN Owned Vehicles and Material Handling Equipment in Somalia (RT). The successful Contractor will be expected to provide the following services within UNSOS/AMISOM camps in Somalia: i. Conduct road maintenance and road repair, ii. Perform obstacle clearance, iii. Build ditches, berms and trenches; iv. Perform excavating, scraping, grading & compacting works, v. Earth and bulk material moving activities, vi. Ground preparation works, vii. Construction of earth structures, viii. Filling of defense barriers, ix. Loading of waste management equipment and x. Operation of Material Handling Equipment as per requirement, in accordance to manufacturer guidelines. xi. Operation of all type of UN Vehicles in mission area xii. Ensure that safe driving practices are adhered to including local driving codes and internally agreed standards for both vehicles and MHE/construction equipment.
