Tenders are invited for Provision of Fish Cages and Fish Feeds

The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) is grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security. UN Women has secured funding from the Standard Bank Group of Companies (SA) to promote women undertaking Cage Fish Farming in Bugiri district. UN Women plans to procure Fish Cages and Fish Feeds as described in this Invitation to Bid and its related annexes. The fish cages and fish feeds are procured on behalf of the implementing partner (Bugiri District Local Government) to support the project. This bid is targeting international suppliers of quality Fish Cages and Feeds. The specifications are detailed in the bid document that can be accessed in the links below. UN Women now invites sealed bids from international qualified bidders for providing the requirements as defined in these documents.
