SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS

The City of Surrey (the "City") invites Quotations from experienced and qualified Contractors for the provision of everything required including all skilled labour, tools, materials, equipment for a new Central Management System (CMS) and a compatible Advanced Traffic Signal Controller (ATC) and any other requirements to operate the City''s traffic signals (the "Goods"). The successful Contractor''s ATC''s will be deployed at all new intersections in the City as well as be used to replace the existing infrastructure over a multi-year period. The new CMS will be utilized by the City''s Traffic Management Centre (TMC) staff for a variety of uses including creating coordination plans, analytics and making real time traffic signal timing changes.

The City is currently utilizing CALTrans TEES approved 170E traffic signal controllers in a 332 cabinet with a 212E conflict monitor to operate its traffic signals. The signals communicate back to the City''s current CMS (QuicNet Pro by McCain) via Encom ethernet radios connected either directly to City Hall or through City facilities via a MPLS or fibre optic connection.
