Tenders are invited for Providing Consulting Services to supervise the execution of civil works for the project of the Community College of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad in Socotra Governorate, Republic of Yemen.

Project Description:

The Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training in the Republic of Yemen received a generous grant from the State of Kuwait under the supervision and management of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development to finance the building of the Community College of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad in the governorate of Socotra in the Republic of Yemen and intends to use part of this grant to cover the costs of consulting services for supervising the execution of the civil works of the project which mentioned above.

Accordingly, the Project Manage Unit funded externally by the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training in the Republic of Yemen invites all offices and consulting companies specialized in this filed who wish to participate in this tender to submit their written requests during the working hours to the following address:

In order to buy and receive the tender documents which include: )Advertisement, instructions for consultants, list of data, model form of technical presentation, standard form of financial offer, terms of reference, standard form of contract( for one hundred Dollars which is non-refundable, and the companies which are outside Yemen have to transfer the amount to the account number of the executive unit for projects funded externally at the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training Account No. (01/1001/10757/103) in the Central Bank of Yemen Aden, and the deadline for selling documents via e-mail above and submitting clarifications regarding the tender is on 28/07/2019.
• Applications must be submitted at the above address or via E-mail above, with confirmation of the receipt of tender documents through the response of the project implementation unit funded externally to the office or company by Email not later than 21 days from the date of publication of this announcement.

Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements and conditions of reference attached to the tender document in two separate envelopes )technical + financial( of the original and two copies of each of them shall be sealed and stamped with red wax to the address indicated above and written the name of the tender and its number and the name of the bidder with the following documents:

1) The technical offer meets all the requirements specified in the tender documents and includes the following: For Yemeni offices & consulting companies
` A copy of the registration certificate and the valid classification, valid tax, insurance and Zakat card with the original for verification.
` A copy of the valid license with the original for verification


For Kuwaiti offices & consulting companies
` All legal and certified documents in the country of the office or company.

For cooperative Kuwaiti and Yemeni consulting companies
` In addition to the previous documents, the co-ordination document should determine who will lead the association and will assume full management and responsibility for the services

2) The financial offer meets all the requirements specified in the tender documents.

• The envelopes will be opened at Eleven o-clock in the afternoon on Tuesday 30/07/2019 in the office of the Minister in the presence of the bidders or their representatives with a signed and signed official authorization.
• Bids which will be received after this date will not be accepted and the first envelope will be opened.
