Description:ProRail is currently investigating the ability to apply asset systems to the rollout of ERTMS in the Netherlands.

The expectation is that the use of axle systems will contribute to the goals to be achieved with the conversion to ERTMS, namely:
• Limiting life cycle costs;

• Preventing business impairment when converting to ERTMS and during maintenance;

• Improve the availability of railway infrastructure;

• Provide a solution for Loss Of Shunt (LOS), eAnd undesirable phenomenon in track flow

• Make train access easier with EMC and interference streams.

Through market consulting, ProRail wishes to gain insight into possible architectures, LCC-determining factors andAny additional aspects if your product (s) should be chosen. The market consultation should provide ProRail with sufficient information to reach a technical consensus regarding the possible use of asset systems in the roll-out of ERTMS.
