GENERAL NOTICEPROCUREMENT AGREEMENT (AGPM) REPUBLIC OF GUINEA MINISTRY OF HYDRAULICS AND ENERGY ELECTRICITY OF GUINEA REHABILITATION AND EXTENSION PROJECT OF CONAKRY ELECTRICAL NETWORKS Phase 2 (PREREC-2) The Government of the Republic of Guinea has obtained funding in the amount of 56Million US Dollars from the Islamic Development Bank for the financing of the Conakry Rehabilitation and Extension Project Phase 2 (PREREC-2) and proposes to use part of this amount for the payment of supplies, works and consulting servicesyears of this project. The project aims to improve the quality of electricity supply in the Matam and Matoto municipalities and the technical and commercial performance of EDG through the rehabilitation of distribution networks and the upgrading of customer connections. The projet includes the following main components: - Rehabilitation and extension works for Conakry electrical networks: o Lot 1 (Matam and Matoto 1 areas) o Lot 2 (Matoto 2 area) o Lot 3 (Lansanayah area) - Control and supervision of works; Acquisitions of Goods and TraThis will be done in accordance with the Guidelines for Procurement issued by the Islamic Development Bank (May 2009 edition). Consultancy contracts will be awarded in accordance with the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants in Financial Projects.these by the Islamic Development Bank (May 2009 edition). Works Marches: Procurement of rehabilitation works and extension of electrical networks will be carried out by open international call for tender (AOI), with pre-qualification. Selection of Consultants: SConsultant services for the evaluation of tenders, the control and supervision of works and the definition of socio-economic reference data in the project area will be acquired through competitive bidding using the Quality and Cost Based Selection Method ( SBQC) confrom firms from IDB member countries on the shortlist.
