Description : The Ministry wishes to acquire classified airborne topographic LiDAR digital elevation data and derivative products for selected geographic areas across Ontario. The intent is to acquire the LiDAR data in leaf-off conditions through seven (7) phases over four (4) years, with each Phase covering a specific geographic area as further described herein, so that the Ministry can make the acquired data available through the Land Information Ontario Warehouse (Ontario GeoHub) to be a resource for the private, public and academic sectors. While the LiDAR data will be used for a variety of elevation-related purposes, primary use of the data is flood hazard mapping. When combined with quality assurance through field validation, this data supports all aspects of flood management. Scope of Work The Vendor shall acquire airborne topographic LiDAR elevation data and develop the products in respect of such data for the areas within the Province of Ontario identified by the Ministry as further described in the RFB Attachment Part 3 - Deliverables.
