Expression of Interest are invited for Production of a Documentary

(i) Collection and compilation of organizational information, existing information and material (pictures, video footage, interviews etc.) from the programme and other relevant sources from the HIFASS-LOPIN 3 communications team.
(ii) Script and storyboard submission to HIFASS-LOPIN 3 for review and approval.
(iii) Video shoot.
(iv) Post – production and submission of audio-visual content with voice over, text and music (the final submission will be a high quality documentary in desired format – a short version of four minutes and a longer version of fifteen minutes, with voiceover, text and music (not pirated) of international standard.

EXPECTED SUBMISSIONS
(i) Hard and soft copies of the final script and storyboard.
(ii) Master copy of each Him (four minutes and fifteen minutes) in full resolution High Definition format
(iii) 10 DVD copies each of the short and long versions
(iv) 49 flash drive branded copies of the long version (optional, but should be quoted for)
(v) 1 flash drive branded copy containing both the short and long versions(optional, but should be quoted for).
(vi) Hard and soft copies of the synopsis.
(vii) Compressed file- lower quality, smaller sized files- of each film for upload to website, mobile phones and social media.
(viii) Rushes
The soft copies would be submitted in an external hard disc.

OWNERSHIP AND RIGHT
HIFASS – LOPIN 3 will assume ownership of the final product and retain all rights to use, modify and distribute as sees fit.
Criteria for Selection
(i) Producer/Director must have evidence of producing/developing documentaries/film – Minimum of 2 films (2 documentaries or 1 documentary and 1 film)
(ii) He/she must have proof of working in the film industry of international standard, fora minimum of4 years.
(iii) Show ability to source for all necessary equipment for the production

CODE OF CONDUCT
All team members working with the selected Producer/Director must behave in a professional and ethical manner at all times and must consent to upholding confidentiality, as the program operations are sensitive (confidentiality forms will need to be signed).

TIMELINE
(i) Meeting with the HIFASS-LOPIN 3 team and compilation of information and material (pictures, video footage, interviews etc.) from the program and other sources will take place between 28 October -31 October 2019.
(ii) Script and storyboard submission to HIFASS-LOPIN 3 team – 7 November, 2019
This will pass through an approval process which may require that corrections be made to the submission.
(ii) Finalization of script and storyboard -14 November, 2019
(iii) Shoot- Between 17th and 26 November, 2019
(iv) Post production 2 November- 7 December, 2019
(v) Submission for final review-9 December 2019
(vi) Final Submission -13 December 2019
