Dear Offerors:

Conservation International (CI) is implementing The Blue Ocean Program funded by the Embassy of Sweden in Monrovia/Swedish International Development Agency.

Within this context, CI is procuring one Motor Vehicle (Truck 4X4). CI invites all eligible suppliers to provide your best offer for this solicitation by the due date stated in part II. (Please include all cost related, terms of warranty, Post services in your price quotation)

I. Type of Contract

The anticipated type of award resulting from this RFQ is a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. The chosen vendor will agree to comply with all terms.

II. Submission of Quotations

All quotations are due on March 6, 2020 by no later than 17:00 Hours. Quotations should be sent by email, in PDF format, to hrliberia@conservation.org with the subject line “Request for Quotation - RFQ#: CI/2020/02/Vehicle. To be considered, offerors must sign and submit [Annex A&B] along with their quotations.

Quotations submitted after the deadline will be considered “Late” and will be disqualified from further
evaluation process.
III. Questions
Technical inquiries and/or requests for clarification to this offering must be made in writing via e-mail to:
hrliberia@conservation.org. All questions received may be forwarded by CI to all participating bidders.
IV. Reserve the Right
CI reserves the right to issue an award with no further discussion, to issue multiple awards, or to modify the
award type. Issuance of this RFQ in no way obligates CI to award a purchase order, nor does it commit CI
to pay any costs incurred by the Offeror in preparing and submitting the quote. CI reserves the right to enter
negotiations about price and terms as required. CI reserves the right to divide the award between vendors if
necessary.
Evaluation of Quotations
CI will evaluate each quotation based on price and technical specification (Best Value) and evaluation scoring
will be considered.
Points Criteria 100 points maximum
40 Lowest pricing with required specifications
30 Vehicle provides all preferred options (specifications)
10 Post-Delivery services such as: warranty/repair services/ oil change/ washing facility/ Tire
and break change services, etc.

V. Specifications of Vehicles (Truck 4x4)
CI would like to purchase vehicle (Truck 4X4) similar or equivalent to what is described below:
- 4 x 4 wheel drive, all terrain
- Between 3, 000 and 4, 200 cc
- Fully functional air conditioners
- Manual transmission
- Gasoline or Diesel fuel

VI. Price for Vehicles (Truck 4x4)
Prices must be quoted in US Dollars with taxes/duty shown separately. CI reserves the right to determine
upon seeing the bids which components of pricing should be used as the basis of comparison between
quotations.
If selected, Offeror shall use its best efforts to minimize the financing of any taxes on goods and services, or
the importation, manufacture, procurement or supply thereof. If Offeror is eligible to apply for refunds on
taxes paid, Offeror shall do so. Any tax savings should be reflected in the total cost.
VII. Price for shipping
Please provide prices and additional expenses for shipping (If any). CI reserves the right to determine upon
seeing the bids which components of pricing should be used as the basis of comparison between quotations.
