PROCUREMENT, SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF
TWO (2) WATER TRUCKS
1. The National Irrigation Commission Limited invites bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of two Water Trucks.. The National Irrigation Commission Limited as part of its strategic objective for the financial year 2019-2020 has set itself a target to purchase Equipment in order to increase quality service. The Water Trucks will replace the current Water Trucks which are obsolete and suffers from frequent breakdowns. Delivery Period is 3-4 months.
2. To be eligible, local entities/representatives for the manufacturers of the Water Trucks unit are required to be currently registered with the Public Procurement Commission in the Category Transportation and Haulage and possess a valid Tax Compliance Letter/Certificate) accompanied by a Bid Security of Twenty Thousand Jamaican Dollars (J$ 200, 000.00). Documentary evidence that the Supplier has 70% availability of spare parts is to be provided.

4. Bid Collection Period: July 17, 2019 to July 26, 2019 from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm. The Bidding Document may be purchased upon a payment of non-refundable fee of Three Thousand Jamaican Dollars (J$3, 000.00) in cash or certified cheque made payable to the National Irrigation Commission Limited, and can be collected from the address above.

5. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid closing and must be delivered to the address above on or before 12:00 noon Wednesday July 31, 2019 and deposited in the Tender Box located in the Administrative Building at the address above. Late bids will be rejected.

6. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders` representatives who choose to attend in person at the address above at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday July 31,, 2019 in the Conference Room at the above address. Tenders shall be appropriately marked on the outside of the sealed envelope:

"PROCUREMENT, SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TWO WATER TRUCKS"

Bids submitted by Bidders who do not purchase the Bid Document from the National Irrigation Commission will be rejected.
