INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID



THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF KALAWIT, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/manufacturers/distributors to bid for the hereunder project:



NAME OF PROJECTS : SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 16 UNITS SOLAR STREET LIGHTS INCLUDING INSTALLATION INTEGRATED W/ BUILT-IN SOLAR PANEL, SOLAR CONTROLLER AND BATTERY



LOCATION : Municipality of Kalawit, Zamboanga del Norte



BRIEF DESCRIPTION : PROCUREMENT OF SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 16 UNITS SOLAR STREET LIGHTS INCLUDING INSTALLATION INTEGRATED W/ BUILT-IN SOLAR PANEL, SOLAR CONTROLLER AND BATTERY



APPROVED BUDGET FOR THE CONTRACT : P/ 992, 000.00



CONTRACT DURATION : 20 days



Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within last two (2)

years with and amount of at least 50% of the proposed project or bidding. The eligibility check/screening as well as the preliminary examination of bids shall use non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criteria. Post-qualification of the Lowest Calculated Bid shall be conducted to determine the lowest calculated and responsive bid.



All particulars relative to eligibility statement and screening, bid security, performance security, pre-bidding conference, evaluation of bids, post-qualification and award of contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its rules and regulations (IRR).



Schedule of Activities:



1. Issuance of Bid Documents - July 5, 2018

2. Pre-bid Conference - July 13, 2018 @ 12:00pm

3. Submission of Bid Documents - July 25, 2018 @ 12:00pm

4. Opening of Bids - July 25, 2018 @ 1:00pm



Bid documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment of One Thousand Pesos Only (1, 000.00) to the Office of the Municipal Treasurer, Kalawit, Zamboanga del Norte.



The Local Government Unit of Kalawit, assumed no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid. For more information as to the eligibility and other requirements, please refer to the BAC Chairman.
