Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Procurement of Motor Vehicles.

1. The Government of Liberia has received a loan from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to fund the Tree Crop Extension Project (TCEP). The Government intends to apply part of the proceeds of the TCEP loan for eligible payments under contract for Procurement of Motor Vehicles.

2. The IFAD/PIU, Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Procurement of Motor Vehicles.

Bidders may bid for one or more lots provided they offer for all items and quantities in a lot.

Bidders not offering for all items and corresponding quantities in a lot will be considered non responsive for respective lots. Bid evaluation will be on per lot basis and contract will be awarded on lot by lot basis.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the IFAD’s Procurement Handbook 2010 and Procurement Guidelines: of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Program Management Unit, Ministry of Agriculture Annex, University of Liberia Campus, Fendell; Project Coordinator and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 0900 to 1600 hours, Monday through Friday at the address given below.

5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US$50.00. The method of payment will be by a cashier’s check. The document will be received by each bidder.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address belowon or before Monday June 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM.

Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below at 2:00 PM on the same day.

7. All bids must be accompanied by the following:

• a bid security in the of amount of 2% of the bid price and must be in the form of a Fund Guarantee
• a current business registration certificate in the country from which it operates
• an evidence of tax payment clearance
• Evidence of completion of contract of similar nature
