INVITATION TO BID FOR

Procurement of Goods for the Construction of Tribal Hall



1. The Barangay Local Government Unit of Villangit, through the General Appropriations Act 2018 intends to apply the sum on a per lot basis being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Procurement of Goods for the Construction of Tribal Hall. Bids received in excess of the ABC (per lot) shall be automatically rejected on bid opening, to wit:



Lot 1: Supply and Delivery of Construction and Hardware Materials -Nine Hundred Twenty Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Four Pesos (a‚+/- 920, 454.00)



Lot 4: Supply with Installation of Pre-Painted Metal Roofing Materials - One Hundred Forty-Three Seven Hundred

Thirty Pesos (a‚+/- 143, 730.00)



Lot 5: Supply with Installation of Doors and Windows -

One Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-Two Pesos (a‚+/- 125, 672.00)



2. The Barangay Local Government Unit of Villangit, now invites bids for the procurement of Supply and Delivery of Construction and Hardware Materials, Supply and Installation of Pre-Painted Metal Roofing Materials, and Supply and Installation of Doors and Windows at Purok 2, Barangay Villangit, Sibagat, Agusan del sur. Delivery of the Goods is required within, to wit:



Lot 1: Supply and Delivery of Construction and Hardware Materials

- with in thirty (30) calendar days



Lot 4: Supply with Installation of Pre-Painted Metal Roofing Materials

- with in A-thirty (60) calendar days



Lot 5: Supply with Installation of Doors and Windows

- with in thirty (30) calendar days



after receipt of approved Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed, within two (2) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.



3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criterion as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-.



Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183.



4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Barangay Local Government Unit of Villangit and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.



5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders on March 15, 2019 until before the deadline of bid submission from the address below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount as specified below on a per lot basis to wit:



Lot 1: Supply and Delivery of Construction and Hardware Materials - Php 1000, 00



Lot 4: Supply and Installation of Pre-Painted Metal Roofing Materials - Php 500.00



Lot 5: Supply and Installation of Doors and Windows - Php 500.00



It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity, provided that Bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.
