Tenders are invited for Procurement of Equipment for Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Affairs Inspections.

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. February 5, 2009. Montenegro has received a grant from European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Trust Fund, through Additional Financing of Institutional Development and Agriculture Strengthening Project in the amount of EUR 4, 723, 806EUR, where International Bank of Reconstruction and Development acting as administrator of the grant funds, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the Contract for Procurement of Equipment for Food safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Affairs inspections.

2. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Procurement of equipment for Food safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Affairs inspections, through following Lots: Lot1 - Veterinary and internal control equipment, Phitosanitary and internal control equipment and Lot3 - Food inspection equipment.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures, specified in the World Bank-s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works, and Non-Consulting Services Under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers" dated January 2011 (revised July 2014), (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank-s policy on conflict of interest.
