Description : The objective of the mission is to carry out all of the technical, economic, socio-economic, environmental and financial studies necessary for the drafting of an enterprise consultation file to enable the construction of the 1st section of line 11 connecting Kalâa Sghira to the city of Kasserine and serving the city of Kairouan, based on the preliminary draft study prepared by the Tunisian authorities.

As part of Tunisia-s 13thFive-Year Plan for the Tunisian railway sector, the rail transport development programme includes the construction of a mixed electrified single-track rail service from the city of Kairouan (new station) to the city of Kalâa Sghira/Sousse via Khazzazia, about 52 km in length.
