Preferred Provider Panel - Numeracy and Literacy experts

Description : Numeracy and literacy improvement is a key priority of the Department. The specific focus is to improve numeracy and literacy achievement by all children and young people, in line with the Department`s strategic priority of high achievement.The Department for Education wishes to supplement an existing preferred, professional learning provider panel of high quality numeracy and literacy experts (provider/s) who can work with the Department`s educators to improve capability to teach numeracy and literacy.The objective of the panel of providers is to support the Department`s schools and preschools in their decisions about which external providers to select for the provision of numeracy and/or literacy professional learning services. This will ensure greater consistency across sites in the use of providers who have been quality assured and endorsed by the Department and thus contributing to sustained improvements in teaching practice across schools and preschools, improving numeracy and literacy achievement for all children and young people.
